FAQ

Website compliance audit: frequently asked questions

These answers explain what a WebsiteComplianceAI audit is, what it checks, what you receive and what it cannot do. The audit runs from your public website, and every reported issue is tied to observable evidence. No audit can guarantee a platform decision, and our Terms set out the limits of the service.

What is WebsiteComplianceAI?

WebsiteComplianceAI is an independent, evidence-based website auditing service run by Vertex Digital Forge LLC dba Website Compliance AI. It reviews your public website for technical, trust, policy, identity and content issues that may put advertising or merchant accounts at risk. Every reported issue is tied to observable evidence, not guesswork.

What does a website compliance audit check?

An audit can check business identity and contact details, policy and legal pages, shipping, returns, refunds and billing terms, claims and reviews, checkout, tracking and consent, structured data, trademarks, technical SEO, security such as SSL and SPF/DMARC, and performance. The exact scope depends on your website and the type of audit.

Which advertising platforms is the audit designed for?

The audit form lets you choose Google Ads, Google Merchant Center, Google Local Services Ads, Meta Ads, multiple platforms, or a preventive audit only. Findings are assessed against the current published Google and Meta advertising policies. Platform names are used only to identify the platform you select.

Do you need access to my Google Ads, Merchant Center or Meta accounts?

No. The audit runs from your public website, using public pages, source code, headers, redirects, sitemaps and structured data. Unless a separate written agreement says otherwise, we do not access your Google Ads, Merchant Center, Local Services Ads or Meta accounts. Please never send us passwords or login codes.

Is the free audit really free?

Yes. You can request a free website audit through the form on our home page, and no payment details are required at this stage. As our Terms explain, the free audit may be limited in scope, depth, number of pages reviewed or number of checks performed.

How long does the free audit take?

Free audit reports can take up to 24 hours to prepare and deliver. When your report is ready, we email a report link to the address you entered in the form. Please check your email address before you submit, and look in spam or quarantine folders if the email does not arrive.

How long can I access my free report?

Your free report stays available for 72 hours from the time we deliver the report link. After that, the link may expire and the hosted report may be removed. We are not required to recreate an expired free report, so please download or save it within the 72-hour window.

What does an audit report contain?

In the full report, each finding shows its severity, where it appears on your website, the evidence we observed, a highlighted note on why it matters, and steps to fix it. A preview lists finding headlines only. Findings are prioritized, and checks we could not confirm are kept separate from verified findings.

Does the audit check every page and catch every issue?

No. An audit reviews a sample of your pages, not every URL, and the free audit may be limited in pages and checks. AI-assisted and automated analysis can make mistakes, so no audit can promise to find every issue.

Can an audit guarantee my account will be approved or reinstated?

No. A website audit cannot guarantee approval, reinstatement, unsuspension or protection from future enforcement. Google, Meta and other platform operators make their own review and enforcement decisions. They may also act for reasons that are not visible on your website. An audit helps you find and fix issues that can be observed.

Do you contact Google or Meta, or file appeals for me?

No. As part of the free audit, we do not contact Google, Meta or any other platform on your behalf. Unless a separate written agreement says otherwise, we also do not submit appeals, speak to platform support, send verification documents or request account reviews. We do not forward your submission or report to any platform.

Is WebsiteComplianceAI affiliated with Google or Meta?

No. WebsiteComplianceAI is an independent website auditing service. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or operated by Google, Meta or any other advertising, merchant, search, social media or e-commerce platform. Platform names and trademarks are used only for identification and belong to their owners.

Can you audit an e-commerce store for Google Merchant Center?

Yes. E-commerce stores are checked against Google Merchant Center requirements. Depending on the store, that can include business identity and contact details, shipping and returns information, refund and billing terms, checkout, product claims and reviews, and structured data. Each finding points to the page and the evidence we observed.

Can you audit a lead generation website?

Yes. Lead generation is one of the website types you can choose in the audit form, along with e-commerce, both, or not sure. Whatever the website type, findings are assessed against the current published Google and Meta advertising policies, for the platform you select in the form.

My account is already suspended. Can an audit still help?

It can. An audit can identify website issues that may still be visible before another review or verification request. You then decide what to fix and whether to request a review yourself. We cannot predict or guarantee the platform's decision, and some suspensions have causes that are not on your website.

What information should I not send you?

Please do not send passwords, authentication codes, full payment card numbers, government identification numbers, medical records or other highly sensitive information. A website audit does not need them. Only submit website and business information you are authorized to share. You must be at least 18 to request an audit.

How do you handle my personal data?

We use your details to process your audit request, send the report link and reply to you. We do not sell personal information for money. Audit requests and generated reports are kept for up to 12 months after delivery. For privacy requests, email [email protected] or use our Contact page.

How do I contact WebsiteComplianceAI?

Use the form on our Contact page and choose a topic: a general question, your free audit, a privacy request, a problem report or something else. We reply by email, which is our main point of contact. For privacy requests, you can also email [email protected] directly.
